The proper completion of the bankruptcy petition is paramount to asserting and securing the rights to which debtors are entitled under the Bankruptcy Code.  Well trained and certified in the preparation of detailed petitions and utilizing multiple bankruptcy software platforms, Lynch Legal Support can assist you and your clients in gathering required personal and financial information toward completing the kind bankruptcy petition of which your clients are deserving and which will gain you the respect and appreciation of your Trustees.

    • Review client intake forms and all supporting documents. (We have created our own Confidential Bankruptcy Questionnaire which can be personalized to your firm.)
    • Conduct PACER search of prior bankruptcy filings.
    • Compile a list of questions for debtor(s) toward obtaining required information not resolved in intake.
    • Contact debtor(s) at a time or times in order to obtain additional information, documentation, and otherwise resolve outstanding due diligence issues.
    • Provide market values for real property from Zillow.com (or other property valuation means readily available to Bankruptcy Paralegal at Attorney’s request).
    • Research real estate title as necessary (assuming location county reports to title).
    • Provide market values for motor vehicles/vessels from N.A.D.A.® or Kelley Blue Book®.
    • Import Credit Report data from due diligence provider (CIN, Suite Solutions, Credco), our recommended and preferred method of securing credit report data.
    • Scrutinize income and complete Means Test where necessary (C7 rebut presumption of abuse; C13 determine plan period and Disposable Monthly Income).
    • Scrutinize secured and unsecured debt (C7 consumer vs non-consumer; C13 eligibility).
    • Draft Chapter 13 Plan utilizing local plan format where required.
    • Assemble detailed Petition and Schedules using premier bankruptcy software.
    • Provide detailed outline of potential problems, issues of note, or questions for Attorney regarding the case along with draft of petition for review
    • Electronic filing of Petition and Schedules.
    • Provide Attorney with bankruptcy software file containing client case data.
    • Trustee supporting documents (11 USC § 521, FRBC § 4002).
    • Modifications to Schedules and Plan.
    • Prepare Financial Management Form B23 for timely filing together with post-filing Debtor Education Certificate.
    • Motions (e.g. extend automatic stay, lien avoidance, etc.) and other pleadings.
    • Other services as required and requested by counsel.
